S04E09Top 15 Compete60mA mystery-box challenge involving exotic foreign ingredients from all over the world takes place. Later Joe Bastianich's mother, Chef Lidia Bastianich is invited into the Masterchef kitchen to help judge and to demonstrate the technique involved in cooking Agnolotti to some of the Masterchef contestants while two are excluded. Agnolotti is a stuffed pasta dish. Then all of the chef contestants except the winner of the Mystery Box challenge are judged on their Agnolotti. A contestant leaves the Masterchef kitchen.
S04E10Top 14 Compete60mThe contestants find themselves on the set of the hit show "Glee" where they are divided into two teams selected by none other than star Jane Lynch who plays Sue Sylvester on the show. The teams then cook over a hundred meals for the cast and crew of "Glee" who then vote for a winning team. The losing team then gathers in the Masterchef kitchen where they must face the dreaded pressure test. In this episode they must prepare a lemon meringue pie but without using any lemons. A contestant is sent home.
