"What does it look like if you take the background character and say, 'This story could be yours now if you choose to accept the mission?'" Charles Yu, creator and executive producer of "Interior Chinatown," joins Ronny Chieng to discuss the new Hulu series, in which Ronny also stars. Yu shares the inspiration behind the story, based on his best-selling book about a TV procedural background character that breaks out of his role, working with director Taika Waititi, subverting norms in his writing, and being an Asian man in America.
