Is it for me?
Viewers who followed Yellowstone and want its family saga grimmer, with almost no jokes, will settle in. Ford and Mirren supply the few laughs as the old married couple. Jacob is stern and silent with everyone, then softens around Cara, who says the warm thing out loud. Elsewhere, Spencer shoots a lion and is promptly hired to track a leopard, and the hunts are just as tense.
Before you start
Season one is tight, but season two spends long stretches away from Montana and slows in the middle.
2 seasons, 15 episodes, 60 min each, about 15 hours so far
