A Remarkable Place to Die

Scenic crime drama for people who like a mystery with a mountain view and a detective who keeps her feelings to herself. Chelsie Preston Crayford plays Anaís with a pensive, withdrawn edge that makes the quiet scenes land. A body tumbles down a hillside after a car crash, and she works out the man died days before. Rebecca Gibney gives a supporting part real bite.

Each episode closes its own case, but a thread about the detective's family builds across the season, so watch them in order.
