Is it for me?
Viewers who grew up on Adventure Time and still love its sadder episodes will feel this one is aimed at them, though newcomers may struggle without the original. Cake, handed a voice translator, wanders Ooo and causes chaos in a market while Fionna searches for her. Madeleine Martin plays Fionna as a flat, tired adult, and the jokes sit right beside the ache.
Before you start
The show gets much stranger and more emotional from episode three, so give it that long.
