All Her Fault

Parents who like a rich-suburb mystery with a marriage cracking underneath will tear through this. The search is also a trial of the mothers, and a press conference meant to help goes so badly that the police and the public start looking at the family instead. Sarah Snook plays Marissa's guilt in plain sight, and Dakota Fanning's Jenny gives her someone to lean on.

It is one continuous investigation that moves fast from the first scene, with flashbacks and side storylines running alongside, so watch the episodes in order.
