Is it for me?
Variety-show fans who like being surprised by a stranger on stage will have a good time. An act's first seconds often undersell it, so the fun is waiting to see which way the room turns. Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel argue over who deserves to go on, and each judge gets one Golden Buzzer that sends someone straight to the live rounds.

The taped audition episodes are the easy way in; each season slows down once the live shows start and results air separately.
