Ballard
DramaCrime2025Rated 7.4

Starring Maggie Q, Courtney Taylor, John Carroll Lynch
Next season
Season 2announced, no date yet
All at once, last aired Wed, 9 Jul 2025
Is it for me?
Viewers who like detective work will settle in, with old files to reread, witnesses to chase and a small team nobody listens to. Maggie Q plays Ballard with patience for the victims and none for the brass. Her grandmother gives her a build-your-own surfboard kit, and Ballard waves it off, which tells you how little room the job leaves her.
Before you start
Several cold cases run side by side with a larger investigation threaded through them, so episodes do not close out one case each.
1 season, 10 episodes, 47 min each, about 8 hours so far
