Is it for me?
Pulpy crime fans who like their violence sudden and over the top will have a good time here. Slow small-town drama gets broken up by brutal fistfights and gunplay, like the bar fight where the newcomer takes on the real incoming sheriff. Antony Starr plays Hood as a crook with a code, and Ulrich Thomsen makes Kai Proctor, a crime boss shunned by the Amish, repellent.
Before you start
Season one leans on self-contained cases and jobs; season four is noticeably slower than the middle seasons.
4 seasons, 38 episodes, 60 min each, about 38 hours so far
