Is it for me?
Shonen fans who want sword fights with a gruff hero and a loud supporting cast will settle in fast. Rukia turns up in Ichigo's classroom and holds him to the job. Johnny Yong Bosch gives the English Ichigo a deep growl and shouts through long battles, and his banter with Rukia keeps the darker episodes from getting heavy.
Before you start
Early episodes are a spirit case each week before longer stories take over; many fans skip the anime-only filler arc partway through.
9 seasons, 366 episodes, 30 min each, about 183 hours so far
