Is it for me?
Case-of-the-week fans who want the bickering to matter more than the body count will settle in easily. Brennan answers every pop culture reference with a flat "I don't know what that means", and it lands from the moment Booth compares them to Mulder and Scully. Emily Deschanel plays her blunt and sure of herself, David Boreanaz plays Booth warm, and the lab crew adds jokes.
Before you start
The formula settles in fast and holds for years; later seasons spend more time on the cast's personal lives and less on the cases.
12 seasons, 246 episodes, 60 min each, about 246 hours so far
