Brothers

A loose hangout comedy for people who would happily watch these two friends riff and don't need the jokes to land every minute. Woody Harrelson plays a flaky hippie and gets most of the laughs, while Matthew McConaughey stays calm and philosophical beside him like a straight man. Holland Taylor, as Matthew's mother, has a late-night talk with Woody full of boozy Southern charm.

Episodes drift through subplots instead of building toward anything each week, so it is easy to watch one at a time.
