Is it for me?
Teen-drama people who also like their monsters funny will find the friend group worth staying for. The cold open sets up a standard horror scene, a boy and girl sneaking into the school at night, then flips so the girl is the threat. Sarah Michelle Gellar gives Buffy a weary, soldier's edge, while Willow and Xander trade awkward, geeky jokes around the scares.
Before you start
Season one is short and mostly a monster each week, so give it time; the stories start linking up partway through season two.
7 seasons, 144 episodes, 60 min each, about 144 hours so far
