Is it for me?
Viewers who like a charming rogue and can stand watching him wreck things will get on with this comedy fast. The talk is acerbic and filthy, and the music references never stop. At a book signing, Hank scraps with the director who turned his novel into a rom-com. David Duchovny plays him as a jaded romantic, and Evan Handler's Charlie is the comic foil.

After season three, episodes repeat the same cycle of Hank ruining things and apologizing.
