Is it for me?
Lurid revenge thriller for viewers who enjoy a charming villain and do not mind a sweaty, graphic streak. Javier Bardem plays Max Cady as a friendly man one minute and a threat the next, sometimes inside a single scene. He turns up uninvited at a fundraiser and gives a warm speech praising the firm. Amy Adams is the lawyer who senses trouble before anyone believes her.
Before you start
It is one continuous story, so watch in order, and the early episodes take their time setting up the family before the threat tightens.
1 season, 10 episodes, 51 min each, about 9 hours so far
