Is it for me?
A murder-of-the-week show for people who want jokes and flirting around the body, not a grim tone. Castle spins out wild theories while the precinct team lets him run, and one early case, a nanny found inside a building's clothes dryer, gives him plenty to work with. Nathan Fillion plays the know-it-all as a boyish showman, and Stana Katic keeps Beckett sharp and guarded.
Before you start
The case-of-the-week formula is set within the ten-episode first season and holds steady for years, so you can start anywhere early on.
8 seasons, 173 episodes, 40 min each, about 173 hours so far
