Is it for me?
Viewers who like watching a puzzle come apart one clue at a time will settle in, provided graphic crime scenes don't bother them. A man dies right after a big casino jackpot, and Grissom and Nick have to work out why. William Petersen plays Grissom calm and curious, a boss who gets more interested the stranger the case looks.
Before you start
Each hour is a self-contained case, so you can start anywhere; the later seasons lean more on character threads that run across episodes.
16 seasons, 337 episodes, 60 min each, about 338 hours so far
