Is it for me?
Crime fans who like an anti-hero they half-root for will settle in fast, as long as graphic crime scenes do not bother them. Michael C. Hall plays Dexter as a man with no conscience who still has ordinary neuroses, which makes the dark jokes land. One early case leaves bloodless, mutilated bodies and a doll as a message.
