DTF St. Louis

Deadpan suburban comedy for viewers who like a whodunit played for laughs and a bit of ache. Floyd reads his stepson a poem about grown-up Cs, a scene that shows how odd and sincere the humour gets. David Harbour makes Floyd sweet and oblivious, and Jason Bateman plays Clark flat, high-fiving his wife like a roommate. The dialogue is sharp.

It plays as one story told through detective interviews that jump back to earlier scenes, so watch in order.
