Is it for me?
Agatha Christie readers who like to name the culprit before the detective does will be happy here. José Coronado plays Basil as a man who has only ever solved cases from a script, and he borrows Holmes's tricks on a real body. Elisa Mander's death first reads as suicide, and the clues sit in ordinary scenes, so you keep revising your own guess.
Before you start
Every episode keeps to the same location and suspects, so it plays best in one or two sittings rather than spread over weeks.
1 season, 4 episodes, 46 min each, about 3 hours so far
