Is it for me?
A warm, light teen comedy for people who want 90s nostalgia more than a Legally Blonde history lesson; it works fine as its own story. Elle bedazzles a Nirvana T-shirt to fit in; it fails, and she stays cheerful anyway while the school shrugs. Lexi Minetree plays that stubborn sunniness with an easy charm, and June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett Scott make her parents funny.

Every episode drops at once and follows one school-year arc, so it plays best in long sittings rather than one at a time.
