It is easy, glossy comfort viewing for people who want Paris as a postcard and can shrug off the stereotypes. In one early meeting Patricia, who runs social media and speaks no English, simply walks out partway through. Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu makes Sylvie a boss who meets every bright idea with an unimpressed look, and Lily Collins keeps Emily cheerful anyway.
