Family Guy

Viewers who like rude, pop-culture-heavy cartoon humor will find plenty here. The story keeps getting interrupted by short cutaway gags that have nothing to do with it, and Brian and Stewie's side adventures are often the sharpest stretches. A misplaced decimal point gives Peter an enormous welfare check. Seth MacFarlane voices Peter, Brian and Stewie, each in a distinct register.

Each episode is self-contained, so you can jump in anywhere; the later seasons lean harder on cutaways than the early ones.
