Is it for me?
Viewers who grew up on the original and want the old pomposity back will settle in quickly. Kelsey Grammer slips into the timing without effort, and Nicholas Lyndhurst's Alan answers every grand speech with a bored, sarcastic shrug. In one early scene Frasier meets Eve at Freddy's apartment, takes her for his girlfriend, and Freddy lets him go on believing it.
Before you start
The first two episodes arrive together, and the early ones lean on old catchphrases and callbacks before the show finds its own rhythm.
2 seasons, 20 episodes, 27 min each, about 9 hours so far
