FROM

Horror fans who like learning a place's rules the hard way will sink into this, as long as they can stand a lot of shouting. Harold Perrineau plays the sheriff as a man worn down but still making decisions, and the large ensemble gives every night attack someone to worry about. A priest walks newcomers around and shows them the punishment box, where a person is left outside overnight.

Give the first few episodes patience, since they move slowly; a later season opens with a recap and adds a new group of arrivals.
