Gone

Mystery fans who like to watch a suspect and a detective circle each other, and not chase through car parks, will be well served. David Morrissey plays Michael stiff and buttoned up, still running his school by the timetable while the case closes in. In the early police interviews, Eve Myles's Annie, weary and half sympathetic, keeps asking him how long he waited before calling.

It is a slow burn that holds its answers back, and one case runs straight through every episode, so watch in order.
