Is it for me?
It is dry British farce for people who like their jokes delivered straight-faced and their theology irreverent. Crowley slinks around in dark sunglasses while Aziraphale fusses over his wine. The best scenes are the two of them across history, from Noah's Ark onward, bickering like old friends. Jon Hamm's Gabriel is cheerful and cruel at once. The humor sits close to Hitchhiker's Guide, all asides and absurd tangents.
Before you start
Season one is a tight, plotty story; season two is slower and smaller, and season three is a single feature-length episode.
3 seasons, 13 episodes, 56 min each, about 12 hours so far
