Is it for me?
Batman fans with a soft spot for pulp and a high tolerance for stiff dialogue get the most out of it. Fish Mooney, a flamboyant mob boss, sits in her club watching a nervous comedian try to get through his set, and that sort of theatrical menace recurs. Robin Lord Taylor plays Oswald Cobblepot as a twitchy, scheming underling, and Donal Logue gives Bullock a rumpled weariness.
Before you start
Season one plays mostly as a cop show with a weekly case; from season two it goes full comic book, so give it that long.
5 seasons, 100 episodes, 60 min each, about 100 hours so far
