Is it for me?
Viewers who like British crime with a grim edge, and who care more about the detective than the clues, will get on with it. John Simm plays Grace as a driven man, with Richie Campbell's Glenn Branson as the loyal sergeant beside him. Some scenes are grisly enough to put off the squeamish; one case has body parts turning up on the Sussex Downs.

Each case is a feature-length film that closes within its episode, while Grace's private backstory runs through the whole set.
