Is it for me?
Cozy-mystery people who like their murders polite and their company good will settle in at once. Sidney coaxes answers out of suspects gently, and before long he and Geordie are trading case notes over pints and backgammon. Some mysteries run uneven, but the dry humor and the friendship between those two keep the episodes pleasant.
Before you start
Each episode wraps up its own murder, with parish and village storylines running alongside, so it works as an easy one-at-a-time watch.
