Is it for me?
Action fans who want a darker, more doubtful Master Chief than the games gave them will get it, and purists should expect liberties with the lore. In one early scene the Chief touches an alien artifact and is flooded with memories of a childhood he lost. Pablo Schreiber lets confusion show even behind the helmet, and the Elite fights are close, heavy and bloody.
Before you start
Season 1 mixes battles with slower scenes off the front line; season 2 jumps ahead in time and sticks closer to the war.
2 seasons, 17 episodes, 52 min each, about 15 hours so far
