Happy's Place

Viewers who miss the laugh track and a bar full of regulars will feel at home in this old-fashioned multi-camera sitcom. Reba McEntire plays Bobbie as prickly on the surface and warm underneath. Melissa Peterman gets the big laughs as Gabby, a dramatic, needy bartender who treats every shift like a crisis. Bobbie's blunt way of settling arguments makes Isabella think twice about moving in with her.

Episodes are standalone half hours, mostly set inside the bar, so you can start anywhere, though the sisters' partnership builds from the pilot.
