High Potential

Psych and Will Trent regulars will settle in at once, since the cases are comfortable and the comedy sits on a sincere drama. Kaitlin Olson plays the genius cheerfully, bragging one minute and unsure the next. A tap dancer pushed off a roof becomes her first official case, and she reads the scene faster than the people paid to. Her kids at home give the cases a warm counterweight.

Each hour is a separate case, so you can start almost anywhere, though season two runs longer and splits more stories across episodes.
