Is it for me?
Horror fans who like Stephen King's town lore and can stomach harm done to kids will find plenty here. A girl hears singing in her bathtub pipes, and the song leads her and her friends to a cinema worker named Ronnie. The show likes its scares small and domestic first, then wrong. The base plot adds a different cruelty, the way Derry treats outsiders.
Before you start
Early episodes spend time introducing both plots before the monster hunt picks up, with flashbacks to Derry's past along the way.
1 season, 8 episodes, 64 min each, about 8 hours so far
