Is it for me?
Sitcom people who can live with a laugh track get a crew that treats army rules as a game, with real wounds a few feet from the punchlines. Hawkeye and Trapper trade Henry's antique oak desk to a black marketer for the camp's stolen hydrocortisone, while a jeep flattens his tent. Alan Alda plays Hawkeye fast and mouthy.
Before you start
The early seasons play as a straight sitcom, and the show turns more serious and character-driven around season 4.
11 seasons, 251 episodes, 30 min each, about 129 hours so far
