Is it for me?
Dark, sarcastic noir for people who want a thriller about damage more than a bright superhero romp. Krysten Ritter plays Jessica as a deadpan drinker whose jokes cover real injury, narrating her cases in voice-over. Early on she finds a missing student sitting frozen in a hotel room because someone told her not to move. David Tennant gives the mind-controlling villain a polite voice that makes every order worse.
Before you start
Season one is a single 13-episode story that works best in order; seasons two and three move slower and split time across more storylines.
3 seasons, 39 episodes, 54 min each, about 35 hours so far
