Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Spy comedy for people who would rather watch two awkward adults negotiate a relationship than a car chase, closer to Slow Horses than to the 2005 film. Before a black-tie event, John and Jane sit down and hammer out ground rules about sex, like coworkers drafting a contract. Maya Erskine plays Jane as exact and a little unnerving, while Donald Glover lets John's swagger slip.

Early episodes lean on self-contained missions, and the marriage takes over more of each episode as the season goes on.
