Is it for me?
Shonen fans who want a warm, encouraging hero story over a grim one will be at home right away. All Might throws a single punch at a villain so hard it brings rain, and in his ordinary form he is tired and fragile. Izuku's stubborn conviction carries the early episodes, and the odd gross-out gag, like eating a hair, keeps it goofy.
Before you start
Season one is only 13 episodes of groundwork, so give it time; the pace picks up with the tournament arc in season two.
