Is it for me?
This is for patient mystery viewers who like childhood fear told from a child's height. The adults are written as complicated rather than cartoonish, and what they do stays half-understood. The kids trade rumors about a wicked witch in the woods who takes children, and the story sets that fairy tale beside the grown-up trouble.
Before you start
It is slow and quiet, letting information out gradually, so watch it across a few evenings rather than as background.
1 season, 6 episodes, 44 min each, about 4 hours so far
