Is it for me?
A warm, loud family sitcom for people who like British comedy built on bickering and bad ideas rather than clever plotting. David Jason plays Del in a camel coat and cheap gold jewellery, talking as if every deal is a sure thing. Nicholas Lyndhurst's Rodney winces beside him. A batch of briefcases bought from Trigger turns out to have locks that will not open.
Before you start
The first series is slower than later ones, and the longer Christmas specials sit apart from the regular runs.
7 seasons, 45 episodes, 50 min each, about 27 hours so far
