Pawn Stars

History buffs and families who like a quick lesson with their teasing will slide right in. Each episode brings several items to the counter, and when Rick cannot judge one he phones an outside expert, who tells him whether it is real and what it is worth. A multiple-choice trivia question shows up before every ad break, and Chumlee takes the jokes.

No story carries between episodes, so start anywhere; the early seasons feel less staged than the later ones.
