Is it for me?
Conspiracy-thriller fans who enjoy working out who is fooling whom will have a good time, and it is lighter than the grim reputation of its lead suggests. Early on, John pays a bartender to swap a soccer match for a fake news report so a banker panics and sells his shares. Kiefer Sutherland plays him calmer and warier than Jack Bauer, with dry banter.
Before you start
The first episode packs in fake-outs and reversals, and the story keeps jumping between past and present, so pay attention from the start.
1 season, 8 episodes, 47 min each, about 6 hours so far
