Is it for me?
It is comfort viewing for people raised on 1990s family sitcoms, with broad jokes and cheerfully cheap effects. Early on, Sabrina turns her rival Libby into a pineapple and has to answer to the Witches' Council. Salem, a puppet voiced by Nick Bakay, gets the driest lines. Melissa Joan Hart plays each mishap with wide-eyed panic that sells the silliness.
Before you start
The first four seasons are set in high school; from season five Sabrina is in college, with a new theme song and a different feel.
7 seasons, 163 episodes, 30 min each, about 82 hours so far
