Is it for me?
Spy viewers who prefer listening to shooting will find a patient, buttoned-up thriller here. Much of it is officers in hotel rooms on wiretaps, and a nanny in Malta plants a bugged cigar box in a Russian intelligence chief's villa so Kate's team can hear him talk. Gemma Arterton plays Kate as controlled and efficient, and her scenes at home sit right beside the spy work.
Before you start
It is one continuous story, not cases of the week, so watch in order and close together; the early episodes set up everything that follows.
