Is it for me?
A soapy whodunit told from the suspect's side, for people happy with red herrings and a little suburban family strain. Ryan Phillippe plays Ben as a bewildered everyman whose attempt to help leaves his fingerprints on the body. Juliette Lewis, as Detective Cornell, asks flat, offhand questions about his alibi that land harder than any shouting.
Before you start
Season one follows a single murder throughout and slows in the middle; season two starts a fresh case with new faces, so it works alone.
2 seasons, 20 episodes, 60 min each, about 20 hours so far
