Is it for me?
Star Trek viewers who find the starship-of-the-week format too tidy will like this crowded, argumentative station better. Quark and Odo trade insults across the bar, and Armin Shimerman gives the Ferengi more bite than a joke needs. Early on, Kira is torn between an old resistance comrade and her duty, and the show does not hurry her through it.
Before you start
The first two seasons are mostly self-contained; the story threads that carry over from episode to episode take hold from season three.
7 seasons, 176 episodes, 60 min each, about 176 hours so far
