Is it for me?
Trek fans who like first-contact stories will settle in fast. Scott Bakula plays Archer as an easygoing captain, closer to a test pilot than an admiral. On one planet, pollen makes Trip paranoid, and he says out loud how little he trusts T'Pol and the Vulcans. She answers the humans coolly, and that friction keeps the early episodes tense.
Before you start
Seasons 1 and 2 are mostly standalone episodes, season 3 is one serialized arc, and season 4 moves to shorter arcs.
4 seasons, 98 episodes, 60 min each, about 98 hours so far
