Is it for me?
A warm comedy for people tired of shows where the nice guy is secretly the joke. Ted stays sincerely cheerful even when his folksy humor lands badly with the skeptical British reporters at his first press conference, and he keeps bringing Rebecca shortbread anyway. Jason Sudeikis plays him as a decent man, not a hick, and that is why the sweetness never curdles.
Before you start
Season one is the tightest, at ten episodes; later seasons run longer and looser, so stop there if the slower pace loses you.
4 seasons, 44 episodes, 43 min each, about 32 hours so far
