Is it for me?
It's straightforward survival sci-fi for viewers who like a ship full of problems and don't need subtle acting. It plays broad and a little cheesy, in the Battlestar Galactica mould. Angus shows off the soil he smuggled aboard, hoping to grow food under lights. Stacey Read's Alicia, a nerdy teenager who never stops talking, is endearing rather than grating.
