Is it for me?
Broad, quotable sitcom for people who like a laugh track and a character who never bends. Jim Parsons plays Sheldon as a man with a rule for everything, and the jokes come from watching Leonard, the sensible one, try to live with it. Sheldon cannot stand Penny's mess, so he sneaks into her flat at night to tidy it and drags Leonard along.
Before you start
The early seasons are tighter and stick to the friends being oddballs; later ones turn gentler and lean on relationships.
12 seasons, 279 episodes, 30 min each, about 140 hours so far
